We are off to Cornwall for some scuba festivities at the Cornwall Scubafest
over the bank holiday weekend. Whilst it is a long drive from Manchester, it is always a good event. We have our fingers firmly crossed for good weather, so that we can make the most of our long weekend. So what's the plan?
It is tradition for us to sneak in a shore dive with the Mares
team, who will be showing off all their lovely diving equipment in the Exhibition Marquee. We also hope to do some boat diving with Dive Newquay
. Aside from diving, if the weather is bad, or we fancy a more sedate pace, there is plenty to do on site. We will be in the pool photographing freediving, try dives & tech demonstrations. We hope to catch up with Duxy and hear his talk on underwater photography, and join in with some of the marine conservation activities too. Many of the training agencies will be there, along with plenty of gear to look at.
We will be meeting up with the rest of the Scubaverse
team, and you will be able to see what we get up to by visiting the website & facebook site over the coming days. We are looking forward to meeting friends, going diving and having lots of fun!
